Hydrophobic agent HP-55 can be used as mineral filler and special additive for cement-based waterproof mortar system.It is especially suitable for use in stucco, plaster, caulk, sealing mortar/slurry and cement powder coatings used outdoors and in humid environments.It can be used in cement-based mortar systems with high hydrophobic properties. When HP-55 is mixed with water, it will not delay the wettability of dry mixed mortar, will not produce bubbles or slow coagulation, nor will it reduce the surface hardness, bonding strength and compressive strength of mortar.With the increase of the dosage, the water resistance of the product will be linearly improved.

Processing :

HP-55 can be mixed with other dry materials to produce a cement-based powder. The mixing time should be shortened as far as possible to avoid the temperature rise caused by high shear force and the production of small particles of resin. The recommended dosage is 0.2-1.0%, depending on the final demand of the product. It is recommended to shorten the mixing time as much as possible. HP-55 has good compatibility with redispersible polymer powder, early strength agent, retarder, cellulose ether and other mortar additives.

Packing and storage:

Standard packaging: 15 kg paper sacks with polyethylene liners. Or on clients’requirement. Storage: It is recommended to store in a dry location at temperatures below 25°C. 

Shelf life: 

6 months from the production date.
